Department Of Computer Science

Department of Computer Science was introduced to the arts faculty in the year 1992 with UG Course B.Sc (CS) and a diploma course of PGDCA. The department was started with a master leveled program in 1995 that was MCA. As the demand for the computer application increased an UG course of BCA was brought in to our department in 2000. In the next Consecutive year (2001) the college administration have started B.Sc (IT) with its master degree program of M.sc (IT) and at the same academic year started one more master degree program that is M.Sc (CS).

Every two which aims to address the broad range of changes that have taken place in the information and communication industry in recent years. Although students are encouraged to focus their studies on one of the two tracks upon their admission to the program , students are also motivated to move freely between the tracks to gain necessary expertise needed in today’s workplace. Overall the program will enhance students comprehension in information technology and their impact and effect on the social, cultural, and commercial domains. We prepare students to promote artistic creativity, progressive thinking, strategic planning and scholarly research in all areas of digital world.

Our Mission

There are so many ways to obtain the Canonical core of computing Science. Technologies changes rapidly, particularly in the area of computing. Over the years we have developed a distinctive style and method that bridges the theory – practice divide while remaining grounded in the core. Now technologies have become pervasive. Instead of becoming provider for the Corporate Industries or producers of vocationally trained persons, our department has selected to continue to emphasize the pristine science that comes under computing. This is the important aspects of the education offered here.
