The third commission visited and sanctioned 50 students strengths from 1989 onwards. It began as a faculty department within the university and, by 1955, had grown to full-fledged status with permanent employees. Two of our professors had earned doctorates. The chemistry department has a rich tradition of imparting high-quality teaching and research in innovative chemical science fields. Both UG and PG students maintained university ranks from the beginning. The department with its distinguished seven faculty members. Five regular staff members and two self-financing staff members. Two non-teaching staff members one is regular, and the other is self-financing. During the last five years, Our faculty has published 10 research papers in Scopus indexed journals during 2018-2024.
